A glimpse of Professor Mohamed Salama Obaidat:
Mohamed Salama Obaidat is an academic and researcher in computer science and engineering, president and fellow of the International Society for Modeling and Simulation (SCS), and a fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He published about 1,200 peer-reviewed scientific articles and 100 books in his field of specialization.
Chairman and Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Director of the Cybersecurity Institute at the University of Texas-Permian Basin, USA. He is the founder and President of the International Journal of Computer Security.
He was born in Jordan and received a master's and doctorate in computer engineering from Ohio State University. He was honored several times and received several international awards.
In 2022, Springer International Publishing published a book honoring Professor Obaidat’s contributions to computing, informatics, networking, and cybersecurity, entitled: Advances in Computing, Informatics, Networking, and Cybersecurity, in recognition of his significant scientific contribution.
