The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the University of Jordan was established in accordance with the Exalted Royal Decree issued on Feb. 29th, 1974 to be the first of its kind in Jordan. During its inaugural year, the Faculty occupied a limited space in the building of the Geology Department at the Faculty of Sciences, and it only had 13 faculty members teaching less than 100 students.
