The Aeronautical Engineering program
was established through a joint collaboration between the University of Jordan
and the Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Company (Joramco). Joramco Academy is a
certified entity by the Jordan Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC) and
the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA). It specializes in training
and qualifying aircraft maintenance technicians in the fields of airframe,
engine, and avionics maintenance for the Jordan Aircraft Maintenance Company
“Joramco,” one of the leading companies with an outstanding professional track
record spanning more than 50 years of experience in the maintenance and
overhaul of commercial aircraft. The company serves a broad customer base
across the Middle East, Europe, South Asia, Africa, and the Americas, providing
services in the maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of various aircraft
types, including Airbus, Boeing, and Embraer.
Joramco has a
strategic location within the Free Zone area at Queen Alia International
Airport in the Jordanian capital, Amman. The company operates from its
headquarters and facilities, which include six hangars capable of accommodating
more than 15 aircraft simultaneously. Joramco is also licensed by several
international organizations, including the European Union Aviation Safety
Agency (EASA), the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the Jordan
Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC).
