M.Sc. of Process Safety Engineering and Intelligent Systems / Quality Assurance of the Program

The evaluation of the educational process aims to measure the extent to which educational objectives are achieved and to develop students’ skills. The methods include:

Continuous assessment of students’ performance:

  1. Monitoring students’ progress through assignments, exams, and projects in both compulsory and elective courses.

  2. Evaluating the quality of participation in discussions and presentations, especially in the Research Methodology course.

Thesis evaluation:

  1. Assessing the research project (9 credit hours) through its development stages, the quality of the methodology, and the results presented.

  2. Conducting an oral defense of the thesis before an academic committee to evaluate the student’s ability to defend their work.

Student feedback:

  1. Collecting students’ feedback on teaching quality, content, and teaching methods (face-to-face, blended, online) through periodic surveys.

  2. Analyzing this feedback to improve teaching methods and resources.

Academic performance review:

  1. Assessing students’ overall performance in compulsory and elective courses to ensure the achievement of intended learning outcomes.

  2. Monitoring pass and dropout rates to evaluate the program’s effectiveness.

Industry integration assessment:

  1. Measuring the alignment of students’ outputs (projects, research) with industry needs through collaboration with companies or invited experts.
