M.Sc. Chemical Engineering / Student Outcomes

Upon the successful completion of the Master program in chemical engineering, the student should be able to:

  1. Analyze and examine critically advanced knowledge and concepts in engineering mathematics, sciences as well as chemical engineering fundamentals (kinetics and reactor design, thermodynamics, and transport phenomena) in solving complex engineering problems.
  2. Identify, formulate and test a scientific hypothesis and critically analyze chemical engineering problems to generate solutions that meet specified needs.
  3. Plan and carry out literature survey to conduct experimental and theoretical research, within their field of study.
  4. Work both independently and in teams, and develop habits of safe performance of work and ethical conduct.
  5. Communicate advanced engineering knowledge and the results of research effectively and precisely in professional venues.
