  Dr. Abdel Qader is a graduate of ME program at University of Jordan in 1986. Earned his PhD in Material Engineering in 1996 from Drexel University, USA, Currently SVP Technology & Advanced Materials at Strata Manufacturing in UAE responsible for technology development strategy & projects in collaboration with Universities and OEMs, Head of R&D, Mubadala Aerospace (MA), UAE; past works include Advisor-Technology, Education & Training Programs at MA, Director-Engineered Solutions, CYTEC, Manager-Product Development, CYTEC, Manager-Advanced Technology Group, ATK Space Systems, Principal Investigator-Space Technologies, Composite Optics Incorporated, San Diego, California, Member of TMS/ASM, SAMPE, AIAA. Holds 5 patents. Published numerous technical papers. Sits on advisory boards for several university programs in US & UAE. Management Board Member for Aerospace Research & Innovation Center (ARIC) and Khalifa Innovation Center (KIC)/UAE. Received several awards from NASA and other government agencies in US.

Engineer Ahmad, BSc in Mech. Engineering/University of Jordan and LSE Executive Education in Corporate Finance and Strategy from London School of Economics and Political Science and attended Certified Management Accounting coursework. Received extensive professional training in Jordan, Switzerland, Belgium, the USA, Germany and the UAE in the areas of financial management, business strategy and project management to quality assurance, budget planning and HR management. Since 2016, Ahmed is the CEO at Nabil Foods Co. Currently, Ahmad serves on the Boards of Directors at the Jordan Veg Oil Industries Co, the Arab Pheonix Holding Co, and an Investment Committee member in the Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund established jointly by the World Bank and the Central Bank of Jordan.  He has previously been the CEO of MESC-Fujikura Cable Company, Middle East Specialized Cables Company, and the KADDB Investment Group and the Deputy CEO of Fine Paper Company. 

Alaeddin Hudaib, Graduated with a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from the University of Jordan, 1995. He assumed several positions; A manager of EME Industrial Services Establishment 2003-2014, Mechanical Design Engineer at AMC for 5 Years, more than 20 years of Mechanical Design Fabrication and Turn-Key Projects for various Industries, especially Mining, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Agricultural, Food Industries, Recycling;  Eng. Hudaib is the Founder of Engineering Machinery Company (www.emc-jo.com) in 2014 where he is a team leader in handling engineering projects from concept design to realization, commissioning, and startup including Standard & Custom-Designed Systems, Special Spare Parts & Materials supply, Automation systems & electrical-related tasks. He is exemplary in development of real-life ME systems & applications, motivating ME graduates in start-up & entrepreneurship. 

Dr. Tanbour is a graduate Jordan University of Science and Technology with BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering (ME), 1987 and 1990, respectively. Earned his PhD, in ME from University of Iowa, 1997. Currently Interim Associate Dean, GameAbove College of Eng. & Technology, Eastern Michigan University (EMU), USA.  Served as faculty and Chair of ME & Technology at Central Michigan University, and as Dean of Quality and Accreditation at Prince M.B.F. University, KSA. Served in industry in the USA (1993-2009) as Director of Engineering –Gail Industries, as Senior R&D Manager–HNI Corporation, and as Product Development Engineering Manager–A.O. Smith/Whirlpool. A member of ASME; a recipient of the Arch T. Colwell Award.  Inventor in 17+ USA patents and prior arts. 

Dr. Iyad earned his BSc and MSc in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from the University of Jordan (JU) and his PhD degree in ME from West Virginia University/USA. With 12 years of teaching and research in academia and more than 13 years of industrial experience, Dr Eyad has a vision to increase the profitability of the renewable energy (RE) in the MENA markets. Dr. Iyad is certified Energy Consultant, Energy Trainer and Head of Specialty in the field of Energy Services in Jordan. He worked on many RE projects and Energy Audit studies in the region. He served as the principal energy consultant for Greater Amman Municipality in the field of PV Energy Sector. Dr Iyad worked as an energy consultant for the UN-ESCWA, GIZ and the Canadian funded program SEED. He took part in over 400 MWp of PV systems in Jordan, Iraq, and other MENA markets.

Eng. Firas, a graduate of Mechanical Engineering Program at the University of Jordan, is a Mechanical Engineer with approximately 25 years of experience, consisting of 15 years in the Project Management field. He is a certified PMP, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Professional Consultant and Trainer and a member of PM Professional Accreditation and Qualification Committee at the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA)

 

Dr. Karim, Graduated from University of Jordan with BSc in Mechanical Engineering (ME), 1988.  Earned his MSc-1990 & PhD-1993, both in ME and Robotics/University of Pennsylvania. A Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Iowa, globally recognized in the areas of robotics & human modelling & simulation (HM&S).  The Director of the Iowa Technology Institute (a research centre with 7 departments); Leads projects for the US Military (US Army, US Navy, US Marines), and several industries including Ford, GM, Chrysler, Rockwell Collins, Caterpillar, and others. Karim has executive management experience; An entrepreneur who founded or co-founded 3 private companies in the simulation, robotics, and educational fields.  The creator of SANTOS®, an HM&S environment used by military & commercial clients to assess human factors in design of armament & vehicles. Published over 200 papers, holds 3 US patents, serves on numerous international boards.

Dr. Al-Jarrah, a graduate of Stanford University, US. 1989. Assumed various positions including Chair of ME department at the American University of Sharjah (AUS), Vice President for academic affairs/ UAE Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT), Executive Dean of Eng. at HCT. Founded several BSc programs, one MSc program in Mechatronics Eng. at AUS, research labs, national & international programs accreditation & conf. organizations. Experienced in Control Systems Design, ANSYS, and Unmanned Vehicles. Dr. Dado, a Professor of Mechanical Engineering (ME); Specialized in Mechanical Design and Machinery. Ph. D. Graduate from University of Cincinnati, USA in 1988, worked at University of Jordan 1990-2019. Held several administration positions in quality assurance and accreditation of engineering programs. Former head of the scientific committee in Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA) for the ME branch. Served as elected member in the ME council in JEA and member of the central legislation council in JEA, currently and for several terms. Author of more than 50 scientific research papers in machine design and compliant mechanisms. Holds two patents in IC Engine design development. Co- founder and currently CEO of ETA-MAX Energy and Environmental Solutions, Amman – Jordan, Co-founder of TADATEC LLC, Ann Arbor Michigan USA.

Dr. Nidal, MSc in Mechanical Engineering (ME)/University of Jordan; PhD in Aerospace Engineering from University of Cincinnati, USA; Has been leading the Saudi Schneider Electric Innovation & Research Center since 2018, focusing on next generation industrial automation & control systems, edge analytics and industrial cybersecurity. Assumed several positions in renowned technology companies; Executive Managing Director - Tech & Innovation, GE Global Research- GE Saudi Tech & Innovation Centre, DTV/KSA, GRC Energy & Propulsion Programs Leader, GE Global Research - GE Advanced Tech & Research Centre, QSTP, Qatar, Engineering Manager, GE Oil & Gas - Qatar Advanced Tech & Research Centre, QSTP, Qatar Principal Engineer Compressor Aero, GE Power - Greenville, SC, USA, Principal Engineer, Honeywell, Turbo Technologies-Torrance/USA. Published several journal publications. Owns several patents; A senior member of AIAA & ASME. Served on the Industrial Advisory Boards (IAB) of ME Departments at several universities. A certified IP licensing professional since 2018.

Dr. Nidal earned his BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from the University of Jordan in 1994, earned MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Technology from University of Manchester (UK)/1994, and PhD-1996-in Industrial Engineering (IE)/Cleveland State University/US. Worked briefly in industry as a manufacturing engineer; Joined/1998/ the IE Department at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM); works in manufacturing engineering & materials processing. Joined the Materials Science & Engineering (MS&E) department at UWM in 2005; Since 2007, he has been a chairman of the MS&E department/UWM. Teaching & research include materials processing, functional composites & advanced polymer synthesis for water treatment and solar energy applications. Engaged in consulting in lean manufacturing & materials processing optimization.

Dr. Omar (BSc in Mechanical Engineering (ME)/University of Jordan, 1994) is the author of “Between Brains”: explores the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology on the future of jobs, ethics, technologies and economies. The book helped making sense of (AI), especially its impact on the present and the near future for responsible readers worldwide. Omar worked on identifying new and promising areas of scientific research and supporting technologies for various space exploration missions. Published over 33 journal articles; Recipient of several prestigious awards in innovations in space technology. Has 4 Eng. degrees, speaks 4 languages; Invited keynote speaker to multiple national and international events including major innovation conferences, Google, IBM, European Investment Fund, and other events.

Raed Al-Shurbaji, graduated with a BSc degree in Mechanical Engineering (ME), with honour, from the University of Jordan, 1991; Expert Engineer Degree (2005), and Consultant Engineer Degree (2011); Partner and Manager of Almalik Group for Electromechanical Works; Listed on Governmental and Non-Governmental List of Experts, Head of ME section at Jordanian Engineers Association (JEA) board. Raed served as board member of Schools of Engineering at University of Jordan, Al-Zaytoonah University, and Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). A member of the Board of School of Engineering at Al Hussein Technical University (HTU), Head of the Arab Commission for The Qualification and Accreditation of engineers at Federation of Arab Engineers; Member of JEA, ASHRAE, the Jordanian National Building Council (JNBC), and Permanent Technical Committee at Ministry of Public Works and Housing; Member of Advisory Boards of the ME Department at JUST and The Engineering Department at UNRWA College of Naour and the School of Engineering at Petra University.

Dr. Yousef is a graduate of ME from the University of Jordan; globally recognized scholar in engineering and nanotechnology fields. Made notable contributions to the creation of novel nanomaterials that have seen applications in magnetic hyperthermia, onsite diagnostics, antimicrobials, and solar cells. Holds numerous patents, published over 300 articles, textbooks, and conf. proceedings. Holds several prestigious awards; the Sheikh Khalifa Award for Distinguished Research Prof., Arab Thoughts Foundation, the FUIW-FUMI Research Award and other. A fellow of the National Academy of Inventors & ASME. A member of a dozen international societies. Serves as a Chief editor & on the editorial boards for a dozen int. Journals. Yousef’ academic career included Mechanical, Biomedical & Nanoengineering & Medicinal Chemistry, Physics & Nanoscience programs. An ABET evaluator. Served as Acting Provost, Associate Vice President, Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, Dean, Director for Research Centres, Department Chair & Graduate Programs Director.
