Overview
In order to satisfy the persistent and increasing demands for specializing in computer engineering, the University of Jordan established the Department of Computer Engineering in the School of Engineering in October of 1999, and accepted its first class in the Academic Year 2000/2001. Currently, the Department has 14 faculty members and has one undergraduate program that grants a BSc degree in Computer Engineering and one graduate program that grants MSc degree in Computer Engineering and Networks. ​The Computer Engineering B.Sc. program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of (ABET), the recognized U.S. accreditor of college and university programs in applied science, com​puting, engineering and technology.
