Within the activities of the Smart Environment Project (Smart.Eco), supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the project team from the School of Engineering and the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology at the University of Jordan carried out a visit to Chemnitz Technical University.
The two-year Smart Environment Project (Smart.Eco) aims to enhance scientific cooperation between partner universities and develop the capabilities of graduate students in scientific research aimed at developing solutions to harness drones to serve the environment and other peaceful goals.
The visiting team included Dr. Yazan Al-Zain, project manager, Dr. Ghaith Abandah, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Majeed, Dr. Muhammad Al-Mashaqba, and student Al-Baraa Al-Kilani from the School of Engineering, and Dr. Ruba Obaidat and Dr. Dima Suleiman from the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology.
The visit included a diverse program of coordination meetings, artistic performances, visits to university laboratories, and cultural activities. The visit strengthened the bonds of cooperation between the partner universities and the scientific research of the participants, including academics and students. It is planned that the results of the project will include many research papers and university dissertations.
