BSc. Mechatronics Engineering / Project and Research

Through the senior design courses, the design experience culminates with the senior project. Groups of students, usually 2 to 4 students per group, team up in the span of two consecutive semesters to work collaboratively on their senior design project. The project showcases the students' acquired skills in tackling an engineering problem related to mechatronics, including literature survey, analysis, comparative study, problem identification, solution design, and evaluation. A final report is written at the end of the two-semester project elaborating the project's phases, findings, and conclusions. The project and its report are then presented to an examining committee for evaluation and grading.
