 ABET
The Mechatronics Engineering Department was established in 2006. The Department has established itself as the primary supplier of B.Sc. mechatronics engineers in Jordan.
 
Currently, there are eight faculty members in the department with different academic affiliations of assistant professors, associate professors, and professors. It worth’s mentioning that all the academic staff in the department are highly qualified and have obtained their degrees from highly ranked universities in North America, Great Britain, and Europe. The current number of students is about 450 students in the undergraduate program. For teaching purpose, the department has two lecture halls that are equipped with the latest teaching technology including interactive boards, data show, projectors, and computers. In addition, there are five teaching laboratories which are used to insight the theoretical knowledge to the practical application.
 
The Mechatronics Engineering B.Sc.program is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission  of (ABET) the recognized U.S. accreditor of college and university programs in applied science,com​uting, engineering, and technology.​
