On Wednesday, October 5, the School of Engineering held a ceremony to celebrate the Summer Graduates as part of the school’s 38th graduation ceremony.
200 students from the bachelor's level and 50 from the postgraduate level marched to receive their degrees in front of their mentors, families and friends.
Prof. Ghaleb Abbasi, the School's dean, delivered a speech in which he expressed his congratulations to the students and wished them a bright future and successful careers. He told the audiences that the school's chemical, electrical and mechanical engineering programs are now accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology).
The schools’ dean urged graduates to engage in hard work to achieve life- long learning to attain their career goals.
